Emerald Staircase

Emerald Staircase is an old wash through the Enchanted Forest along the soft needles of the Zadee Magic Carpet Trail. The wash has cut a channel down to a series of hard rock steps that have turned green with moss.

Emerald Staircase Covered in Needles

Here the dry waterfall is covered with needles from the white pines in the Enchanted Forest.

Bright Green After a Rain

The wash is mostly dry now, but water will flow down it during a heavy rain. The mossy steps turn bright green when wet.
