Zadee Magic Carpet Trail is a delightful walk through the Enchanted Forest on a cushion of pine needles.

The Enchanted Forest is a stretch of white pines, which is rare in the Appalachian foothills due to the borer beetle.  Nestled below Little Wolf Mountain and far from any other pine patches, the Enchanted Forest is well-positioned to survive and thrive.

As white pines age, their lower branches die and lose their needles, which blanket the ground and provide a soft cushion as you hike down the somewhat steep hill.
